Erasmus+ KA171 Information Meeting

17.11.2022

Selçuk University Erasmus+ Institution Coordinatorship hosted the "Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility for 2023 (KA171) Information Meeting" organized by the Turkish National Agency for the academic staff working in Erasmus and Foreign Relations units of universities in Turkey. Prof. Dr. Rıdvan GÜNDOĞDU participated in the event.

Turkish National Agency KA171 Coordinator Dr. Selen Tokgöz and KA171 experts gave general information about International Credit Mobility. Dr. Tokgöz said, "We have been receiving and carrying out projects since 2015. We receive applications ranging from approximately 80 - 90 - 100. However, we have more than 200 ECHE holder institutions. In recent years, our number of applications has been in the 90 - 100 band. Although our grant is limited, we wish it to be more. We are working to distribute that limited grant to our universities in a fair and transparent way. We have more than 100 institutions here today. We will see together how many of them will apply to us. Last year, we supported 89 KA171 projects. We are working to reach more institutions even though the grant we have is more or less the same."

Within the scope of the meeting, Assist. Assist. Özlem Yelda Dilmen and Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Fehim Kuruloğlu shared their experiences on the subject in their presentations. The meeting, where the weaknesses encountered in project applications were also discussed, ended with a question and answer session.
